About an hour ago I received a call from Silverjet...
"Mr H ? XXX from Silverjet here. It's about the competition you entered on the Guardian website..."
("Yessssss" I thought....)
"...we like to offer you..."
("Go on my son...")
"..a special deal on Silverjet.."
("D'oh!")
Anyhow, the offer was £899 rtn Luton - Newark including 2 nights hotel using a £100 voucher they'd send. Looking at the website that'd suggest the two nights are the Waldorf Astoria. Doesn't seem to bad a deal...
Edit...I've just received the voucher and, of course, you have to be careful about which flights you take to get to the £899 level and I'm a mite suspicious as to whether it really does apply to the deals that include hotel nights as you have to phone to get those and this is a web voucher but it is what the guy said...mind you perhaps his next call was marketing the benefits of low cholesterol margarine..
