We have a large family holiday to Florida next year and some of the group are looking at flying from Glasgow to Orlando using Globespan. (Not me, I will be driving to MAN and going VS, staying true to VS[:p]).

Slightly odd prices shown on Globespan website at the moment though. If you do a flights only quote for 19th July 2008 to 9th August 2008, the price out is £471 and price back is £314 per adult.

However, do a flight and car quote and the price out per adult is £280 and flight back is £235.

So total for 4 adults without car is £3140 but with car is £2417.

WHY???[?][?]

Is is because they have some fixed price FlyDrive packages and just happen to have seats available or is it a mistake??

Thanks

This due to that fact that airline/airline holiday pricing is completely nuts, sorry but it's the only thing I can think off...if it comes down to it..do the car rental..go to the counter..sign the paperwork..look at the car..say yep it's nice..and leave it there..unless you need it of course.

Can't answer your questions about the costs, but why don't you fly VS from GLA to MCO? I understand it has proved very popular this year and will def be extended with extra flights next year.

Thought the dates for Glasgow 2008 had already been announced and last one in July was on the 12th. As we need to fly 19th this is no good to us.

Unless you are saying more will be added to the schedule already released??? That would be great news.

Thanks
