They have a $215/nt rate right now for your dates... & the Palace has one for $172/nt.

Nope, still saying "We are sorry but the promotion you selected is not available based on the dates you provided. The following choices are available." - the $215 rate underneath that doesn't appear to be part of the promo, as the total rate for 3 nights is 3 x $215 rather than 2x + 1 free (which would be ideal!)

Quick Q - Does the VS/MBNA/"Amex" count for this promo?

From my understanding, it does; as the qualification is 'use your Amex card' - and the VS card has an Amex logo on it
