Virgin Megastore Discount

Just wondering if you have the VA Amex can you still get the 10% of at Virgin Megastores like you could with the Virgin Mastercard?

I'm after one of the PS3 bundles and this could help save me £35

After a previous discussion it seems we aren't meant to get the discount, but the stores seem to give it anyway, so give it a try. Not sure how long the discount will remain though after the name change.

As locutus said the official line is the VA Amex customers are not entitled to the discounts that Virgin Money CC holders are. However, when we bought our PS3 we did get the 10% discount and when I bought one for t'other halfs nephew we got it too.

Give it a go, worst they can say is no.

Exactly, on both occasions I just said that I was due the discount because of my Virgin CC, they never even looked at the card. When we bought t'other half's nephews they actually gave us the 10% discount twice because they had so little idea what they were doing.

I got 10% off using the VA Amex in the Cambridge Virgin Megastore last week. I just asked if they still did 10% off for virgin card holders and they said they did.

I got the curb your enthusiasm box set series 1-5 for £31.50 with the discount (virgin had it on offer at £35 and its £65 in most other stores - so I got a bargain) [8D]
