Greetings from the First side of the SKL T2 SIN.

Quite pleasant, with some nice food, and Tiger 'on tap'... but nowhere near the loveliness of the LHR CH.

Will see the new T3 SKL next week - hope it's a bit brighter and less 'brown' coloured!
Seriously.. everything in here is brown. Furniture, carpet, walls..

Now in T3 SKL F.

And no change in SQ's preferred colour scheme. Still everything is brown. No pictures on the walls. No decoration. Just brown.
Food's good. Coffee's good. Otherwise, completely underwhelming.
SQ have missed an opportunity here.

Interesting, what food do they have on offer McCoy? I seem to recall a number of hot plates with stuff such as spring rolls, rice, selection of dim sum, and Pot Noodle clones.

Do they still have the lovely aquariums?

Thanks,

Yup, fish tanks still there in T2 SKL - though they're not 'that' grand, they do add a smidge of colour to the place. None in T3. Just brown things. Crumbs.. even the Givenchy 'sleep suits' onboard SQ are brown.. or 'hepatitis mustard' as I have started calling it today.

Food selection in T3 this morning was excellent. Two large adjacent areas - one a self-service or cereals, breads, cakes, dim sum, noodles, dips and sauces, etc.. and a second area with two chefs standing waiting for action! They have tons of ingredients in bowls, and offer to rustle you up whatever they can. Omelettes are the clear foundation of the dish, but you can point to any ingredients as they make it, and in it goes! Fab! Coffee machines.. fridges with drinks, juices, Ben n Jerrys and Hazzagen Daaz.

Thanks for the heads up about Changi T3. [y]

Will be looking forward to sampling it myself in a couple of weeks.
I will try and 'do the rounds' of the lounges on our various trips. Purely in the name of research for the site of course. [}:)][:I]

T3 itself is beautiful.. can't fault the terminal itself. And what's nice is the huge number of yellow and orange topped helper staff all over the terminal, to help you find your way if you are lost. Or any query really. Smiley and helpful.
