I saw this excellent review of the Gatwick Capsule hotel, with photographs; written by KeithMEL over on SQTalk.com

As far as I know, we have never had a review of it here on V-Flyer, so Keith has kindly given me permission to post a link.

The Yotel is situated in the South Terminal at LGW, full details can be found here.

Nick

Thanks for bringing this to notice[y]

A friend of a friend used the facility to re-fresh on arrival off a VS flight (he was unable to access the US airways facility which is right next door) and had nothing but praise for the place.

Brilliant, thanks for that, Nick. I think we'd opt for the larger room at a Yotel over the prices that standard hotels like the Hilton want to charge if we had an early morning flight. The free WiFi nails it for me [y]

Thanks,
Sarah

Those capsules do look rather good [y]

I also like the idea of charging per block of hours rather than paying just per night, that way you only pay for the time you are there. Well worth considering when I next need an over-night at either LGW or LHR, thanks Nick.

Good spot Nick,
Just booked a Standard room ahead of my MCO flight in May (Cost £55).
How handy is that?,Twilight Check-in, next morning out of bed, through Fast Track Security and into the Clubhouse! [y]

Wow, looks like a sleeping car on a train (minus the rocking and rolling!)
