Dollar @ JFK

Hi,
Just wondering if the Dollar Car rental is onsite at JFK or is it one of these you have to get on a bus to ?

Never used car rental before from JFK so I have got no idea.

You get the air train from the terminals out to Federal Circle for the car rental locations, and hotel shuttles. (The train is free if you are only going as far as Federal Circle) See here for full details.

We rented from Dollar last July at JFK and found it took us over an hour to get the car, despite the fact that there were only about three people in front of us in the queue. [n]

They appeared surly, unhelpful, and desperately short of cars when we were there - maybe we were just unlucky.

Which way are you heading? We were going north and the traffic, before we hit the 95, was horrible. It was a Sunday afternoon, but it seemed that the whole of New York was on the roads. Allow plenty of time for your journey.

We are also heading North, going up to Poughkeepsie. Im just hoping with it being a Monday everyone will be in work. (Well maybe thats wishful thinking)
