Seen on the news whilst over here that AA have cancelled over 1000 flights due to wiring problems on some of the a/c. Mainly flights in/out of ORD/DWF.

sorry if already posted, did a quick check and couldn't see anything but not 100% as trying to have a holiday!!!!

This is an ongoing issue for AA - the FAA have been cracking down recently following allegations of some cosiness between it's officials and some airlines, or simply to enfore it's requirements for safety. It affected me a few weeks ago in Minneapolis for a similar reason - but I had thought that was resolved, obviously not.
