In years past the British tourists have ranked amongst the worst in reputation when it comes to tipping, that oh so very Vegas pastime that employee's rely on to feed their kids, fly on VS and help to pay for a new screen on their I-Phone...

So the top 5 worst tippers as ranked by dealers across town.

1. France
2. Denmark
3. Oklahoma
4. Canada
5. Uk

Ah, this is the thread you were talking about.

Hmmmm, as a Brit there are 2 things i like nothing more than. One is to be top of a table, be it at the Olympics, football, teen pregnancy rates etc...The other is to beat the French, just like we did when we were awarded the 2012 Olympics.

So for me being 5th in this table and having the French at the top is a double blow, so *I* think I need to be even tighter with my tips than I was planning on being to ensure that we get our arses back to the top of the table[y]

Brings back fond memories. I was in DC when the Olympic results were announced and you'll recall that the day after the announcement there was bombing in Central London. I was taking a bus through Silver Spring and this charming old lady commented to me how terrible the bombings were and asked if we knew who it was yet? Well, I said, we think it's either Muslim extremists or more likely - the French. They didn't get the Olympics and they're terribly bad losers - ask Greenpeace.

Really? she said - I hope not - that'd be terrible.
