Live tv onboard?

Is it possible to have live tv on board planes in Europe such as those in US, Jetblue?

Yes it is, they would of course pick up the Euro satellites rather than the US ones, but I can't see any reason why not.

Qatar Air are introducing this on their international flights too, as well as internet apparently.

Having watched abit of the US Open onboard a JetBlue I thought LiveTV is brilliant.
