Now we have booked our flights we arew trying to make a decision on where to stay during our business trip - We need to stay on Sukhumvit due to meeting etc so have narrowed down to the following - The Westin / The Millennium / The Sheraton + the Landmark - All the rates are not a million miles from each other for club floor deluxe rooms but if anybody could maybe let us know wher they would suggest is the best of these ones (or if thay have another ideas) it would be great - Thanks

Stay at the Peninsula and use the skytrain just across the river to get to Sukhumvit road area. The Pen river shuttle will get you across the river in about 3 minutes. It really is a fantastic Hotel and very good value.

I would only stay in the Banyan Tree. Without a doubt the best city hotel in Asia!

I stayed at The Landmark in a Club Room/Floor. It was an amazing hotel, staff were lovely and super friendly, great views over the city, club floor happy hour is on the 33rd floor and great for a view pre dinner drinks [y]

We stayed in the Intercontinental in a club room and the club lounge was fantastic with wonderful views. The best IC club lounge we've been in. The skytrain was right outside which was really convenient and we could walk to the MBK centre easily.

We dined at Vertigo on top of the Banyan Tree and have to agree, the BT looks a lovely hotel, well worth it.

We stayed in the Holiday inn last year, which is next door to the Intercontinental. Originally thought it would be a standard 3 star hotel. But it was a 4 and one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Rooms were of a high standard the showers are awesome, you can even sit in them and they have jets that cover you all over (we had basic room) Room service was quick and very cheap and the food was excellent.

Staff were very attentive, the same bell boy always seemed to be on the front door whenever we left/arrived back, he alweays addressed us by name, wished us a good day etc.

The breakfast although a buffet was excellent with different foods for different nationalities. (hot food was availabe to be cooked).

Pool area is a bit small but was fine, and the service at the pool is excellent.

Would definanlty stay there again.

Stayed at the Hilton Millenium perhaps two months after it had reopened.

Beautiful view of the river, a free and quick boat ride to the sky train and the most wonderful restaurant and exec lounge

I only have a few pics uploaded of the view, but this one shows off the view rather well:

The hotel in the bottom left is the Shangri La (that's also where the sky train is on the Thaksin Bridge)
