For the complete geeks here JAL are painting a few of their 777s so they are putting 747s on the earlier flights on the TYO-LHR-TYO route for a few days this month the first of which being this Sunday JL403 landing at 14:35 and JL404 departing at 16:35.
JAL have been one of the biggest supporters of the 747 and will be retiring their long haul fleet in the next couple of months. There will still be lots on domestic routes in Japan but not on the long ones where they will all be replaced by 777s.
