advice from lax to maui

hi,i wonder if anyone can advise on the following.
flying to lax with virgin and then onto maui the next morning in july.i'm looking to book a first class return and wonder which airline has the better product out of united,american or hawaiian.
any help greatly appreciated.

We flew with US Airways out to Maui, booked economy but upgraded at check in (So saved some $$$), the service was excellent, but the product was as with most US First Class, apart from Virgin America, was mediocre.

Flew back with American on their new business class seat, food and drinks excellent, FA's old......seat was comfortable and able to sleep all the way back to SFO.

HA has pretty much the best first class out of the 3 airlines listed.

UA and AA use a domestic first product out to the islands, which pretty much sucks, the HA set up is something of a mixed bag but given the choice I would go with HA.
