Daffodil's Daily Diary From The Hilton Dalaman Resort & Spa

Arrived at Dalaman Airport at 8:00 pm. Drove to the Hilton to the spectacular sight of a full blood red moon caused by a lunar eclipse. Checked in to the hotel and was given a room upgrade to a seaview room as a HH Diamond member. We found this gem of a hotel last September and booked the return visit as soon as we got home. It looked at least as good as our last visit - we were not disppointed!

Excellent result on the upgrade y) y)

After being on the Atkins diet for over 5 weeks needing to loose weight to go on this all inclusive holiday (HMV Lover will appreciate this). For breakfast I feasted on fresh fruit and a pancake accompanied with buttermilk and fresh honey from a honeycomb.

I than spent a couple of hours relaxing and reading at one of the ten pools. It was soon time for lunch which consisted of organic tomato soup, seabass with salad and a variety of desserts. I than went back to to the sunbed for some more sunbathing and reading.

Next I swarm at the indoor pool for 45 miuutes which was great only two other people using it. I followed up with a sauna and steambath which left my skin feeling silky smooth.

It was than time for the Manager's cocktail party. A few glasses of champagne a chat with a few of the managers, all very happy as no one had any complaints. It was then on to the Tex Mex Gala dinner hosted by some celebrity chefs which I haven't heard of but I'm sure someone some where had. It was excellent, rivalled some of the best meals we've had.

This was followed by a cuban dance show and a stop at the piano bar where I've acquired a taste for a drink called a White Russian!

Now retiring to bed, but wait just checked my emails and I have tickets for the X Factor auditions in Cardiff - wow!
