With the collective travel knowledge hereabouts, can anyone help narrow down the field/options?

My wife is doing a business trip London to Jacksonville.

She'd like to fly gaining benefits with either VS FC or BA EC - she has both accounts.

What would be suggesting routings bearing in mind transfers, immigration etc?

For example, she could fly via Miami, but the imigration is famous, so Oralndo better? JFK?

Obviously, a routing that would maximum miles in FC or EC is what she is after.

Any thoughts?

And, how/where to book to maximise returns?

For direct you only have 3 options which are BA or VS to MIA/MCO or there is also BA to TPA. MCO is the closest to Jacksonville.

Of course you could also do an indirect flight to anywhere on the East Coast and then connect direct in to JAX.

Google maps says it is 174 miles and a 3 hr drive between Orlando and Jacksonville airports

You took the words out of my mouth, and for what it's worth VS has a interline agreement with B6 at least to through bags on the return.

If your wife can, book the extra legroom seats on B6, they're really spacious.
