Continuing Travel Chaos on the A4 in London

BBC News is reporting that the Hammersmith Flyover (the main road from Central London to Heathrow) could be shut for the rest of the month.

Glad I don't have to go anywhere near this!!

I saw this, thankfully I can avoid it and get to Heathrow via say Kew ... but it's going to be awful and even as far south as Sheen is seeing congestion as people take alternative routes. Ugh !

Can't imagine what this will be like - a month or so ago I travelled to LHR for my Dubai flight. However, I had to drive through town to get there. On a Sunday evening traffic was so bad I had visions of missing the flight and that was when the flyover was open!
Never again will I drive that way. It will be either M25 or public transport.
Will be a complete nightmare now.

Fantastic n( . Think I'll try to avoid the area but that's not always possible.
