I have two distinct questions here - hope someone can help.

On my return flights with VS to LGW, I could use the Sofitel arrivals facilities, except the lounge stipulates "no children". Has anyone experience of this - i.e., could one partent wait in the hotel lbby with the child whilst the other has shower etc?

Is the no child thing strictly enforced?

Now, in Oct I'll be flying back CW wit BA, and lounge access is part of the deal. So on returning to LGW, with my child who will also have flown CW, will she still not be allowed access?

Any help much appreciated...

The Sofitel arrivals lounge is quite small but very welcoming. You go through the lobby to the end, in the glass lift and down to the lounge.

I am sure that one parent could wait in the lobby whilst the other is in the lounge. (don't quote me but I am pretty sure their were children in there the last time we were there - not really young but maybe early teens, although I am bit dozy before a shower)

The guy thats usually in the lounge is very good and I am sure if you explain the situation there might be a solution found y)
