I thought this was a busy resort, but it would appear not to have been making much money!! Looks like Beach Club & Casuarina still going concerns, but up for sale.

Glad i didnt book it & hope anybody that did gets looked after by their travel agent..

About $80mm in debt from what I recall. They got new owners fairly recently and had already sold off their 2 properties in St Lucia. So now all that's left is Casuarina and the adults only Club & Spa.

It's a great shame... one of my favourite family holiday places and we got looked after extremely well over the years. Not in any way up market, but comfortable, friendly, and spread out over a very large area, so no feeling of being hemmed in.

I think this is best thing for the hotel,the main shame is the staff losing there jobs they all took a pay cut to help save the place but it was to far gone, i just hope someone will buy this hotel and all the staff get there jobs back
