Daytona Beach Info

Hi we are looking to have a 1-2 nights in Daytona beach in May whilst in MCO, having never been there, i was looking for some advice on hotels/motels.

Looking for mid range nothing too flash but not a budget motel If possible right on the beach with ocean views. Not too fussed about pool/spa etc.

Anyone have any recommendations please?

Sorry I cant help on where to stay as I haven't been to Daytona for years...but....
If you have a car/motorbike, you absolutely must do a beach drive. I think it costs $5...Enjoy

There is a Hilton by the beach from £81 per night on some dates in May. I haven't stayed there so unable to comment on it.

We have stayed in Daytona, and loved it. 2 Mile from main beach Central) we stayed at the accapulco 3 star on the beach cheap and cheerfull. But we really liked the plaza Resort on the beach close to the pier and shops and restaurants this is a 4 star hotel. y) Enjoy.The Hilton is next door to the Plaza resort.

There doesn't seem to be anything on the calendar in June so you should have plenty of choice.
We flew out to MCO on 22nd Feb and drove up to South Carolina next day.
It was the Daytona 500 and hotels were packed.
