Areas of Miami

Just booked uc on VS005 to MIA in June 2019. been to Orlando before but not Miami, whats the best part to stay for a week? Looking for beach and then food drinks in evening.

If food, drinks, fun, great nightlife and a fabulous beach are your thing, then South Beach is THE place to be.
The art-deco area has a wonderful atmosphere, but quiet and cheap it ain't

I like South Beach, but am nit sure I would want a full week there - if I was staying for a week I would probably go a bit further north to the Boca or Fort Lauderdale areas.

As you go further up the coast, it’s much calmer and quieter. The Hollywood Beach area is pretty nice as I’ve stayed in that area.

Carry on further up the coast and you reach Fort Lauderdale which, whilst not as crazy as South Beach, can and does get busy as I’ve stayed in that area as well.

MIA airport to Fort Lauderdale is approx a 90min drive. The roads around MIA are crazy and it’s very easy to get lost even when using sat nav!!

I fly to/from FLL (Fort Lauderdale) now which is much more relaxed and much easier than MIA is.
