Just looking at indirect flights and wondering what happens when first part of a return flight is delayed, causing you to miss the transatlantic part. I’m guessing there’s no issue with you being put on the next flight, but what’s the situation if there are no 1st class seats available on that flight? Would you be refunded the difference, and how about if you’ve part paid with avios, would that also be refunded?
