Hi all,

I've currently got a reasonable chunk of BMI DC miles that I'm currently thinking of using for business class flights from MAN - LAS, using a combination of miles and cash. Two questions, really:

1. Can you do the same for all Star Alliance partners?

2. Can this be done online as it can be for BMI metal on their website, or is it a matter of calling my DC flight booking number and browsing what's available over the phone?

Cheers,

Darryl

Yes - the mileage chart is alliance-wide and Miles Plus Cash works on all alliance members. Note: It does NOT work on VS or their other "independent" partners.

You can only book BMI's own metal online. For all other bookings, you need to call the Diamond Club up (and wait, and struggle, and try...)

Excellent, thanks for the info.

With that in mind, and with LHR as the ideal starting point, do people have recommendations on the "best" miles plus money business class flight I could go for?

West Coast America is favourite, although an idea on how much I should expect to pay to get to someone in Asia / Japan would be food for thought!

Cheers,

Darryl
