VS021 LHR-IAD 5 Nov 06 (PE)

Aircraft was the African Queen with the old old seats (which I like) and the old IFE.

The passenger next to me got an Op-Up as two of them had the same seat assignment (How does that happen ?)

Checking in was very quick, lines were very very long at T3 for Security, however they moved quickly.

Flight attendants were particularly good. Would have been a better flight if the group that had been travelling together had been sat together rather than all the cross talk that stopped me from sleeping.

Hoping the return flight on Friday evening is a newer plane ;-)

The connection to Denver with United was OK, apart from my Bag never made my flight, and only arrive at 4:30am. This was not a Virgin issue, and I suspect due to the baggage chaos at IAD yesterday.

This seems to be happening a lot with 2 people being issued with the same seats. Really don't understand how that happens. Maybe somebody can enlighten us?

I do not understand how VS system will allow them to book 2 passengers in the same seat, surely it would flag up??? STRANGE!
