when it was my turn i got asked about my guiitar again and explained that i was allowed to take it onboard last time and the check-in agent said thats fine then.
with my luggage off of my hands it was the quick journey to the security check point which didnt take very long as thy are quite efficient at sfo. once through the check point i wondered what to do due to the lack of shops in the airport. i decided to have a drink at the cafe at the end of departures which overlooked the inbound and outbound flights.i had a quick check on the arrivals board and found that VS20 was next to land and i watched the sexy bird touchdown onto the runway. as it got closer to the gate i realised that it was G-VFAB.[:D] she looked so beautiful in the san francisco sun. when it was time to board the rows were called out and with in 30mins the doors were closed. once we had pushed back the pilot had thanked the paxs for being prompt to the a/c this could mean that we could get away early[oo]. the flying time was to be 9hrs which made me feel alot better. no wait at the runway so we were straight off into the air looking out of the window i saw San francisco for the last time.
The entertainment had started without a hitch but i was confused when i saw we were flyin over japan[:0]. the food was handed out quite quickly so people could sleep. i had the chicken and pasta but it wasnt the same creamy sauce, it was more of a spagetti sauce as i had on VS19 which disapointed me. the cheesecake was nice tho. after this i began to sing stevie wonder (dont ask me why)[:I][:I] to my teacher who was laughin so loud the person 2 rows asked us to be quiet[:I]. after this i fell asleep for a few hours. when i woke up we were over ireland yay nearly home. breakfast was served and i only had the fruit then i stole my teachers fruit without her knowing [}:)]. descending into london i got a great view of all the sight including flying over wembly which looks nearly finished, then we flew over hyde park and then we landed which seemed like we stayed on the runway longer than usual[?] dont know why.
departed the a/c which took along time as i was at the back grrr. the flight time was 8hrs and 55mins which is good from san francisco. through immigration and customs no problem and then we had a 3hour coach journey back up the m1 to leicester overall a great flight and cant wait until i go next year. roll on oct 2007
