Following a stay at the Crowne Plaza, managed a really early checkin at 6.15 and moved seats from 32AC to 29HK (bulkhead) so a little more room available.

Wandered around T3 for a while and then into the Servisair lounge which was much better than its equivalent in BHX with a better range of food and drink avaiable.

Flight boarded on time and there were a couple of spare seats in PE but otherwise it seemed fairly busy.

Pre flight drinks were served and after a very smooth take off, came a quick service of drinks/pretzels. The PE menus were distributed and the choice was not very good (sorry can't recall the exact menu). Vport worked smoothly and watched Madagascar 2, Meet Dave. House Bunny and a few episodes of Family Guy with a little snooze in between.

A choice of vanilla ice cream was offered and nearer to landing time there was a hot sandwich too. Both were not to my taste but I thought I'd try the chicken mustard offering. Took one bite and the mustard nearly blew my head off and had to pop to the galley to get some pretzels to take the strong taste away. There was a male FSM on this flight and was regularly in the PE galley and I'm assuming he ran a tight ship in Upper too. He seemed to be very visible. We queried the green visa waiver form offered at the gate as it asked for US contact phone nos, email address and when/where was a US visa issued. Very confusing as the whole idea of the visa waiver form is that no visa is issued. He gave us a new one to fill in though just in case there was a problem with immigration on arrival.

The crew were excellent throughout this flight and had a 2 day stopover. I asked for a couple of Cowshed products as I like the cheeky cow facial moisturiser but couldn't buy it in flight so was given a couple of different moisturisers to try instead. On the whole, very helpful.

After upper class got off the plane, PE were let off and a very swift walk to immigration without any problems with the green waiver forms - we did offer both forms in case there was a problem, but were through very quickly and on our way.

This was a good flight with an early arrival into SFO and short trip on the BART to Powell Street to get to our hotel.

Thanks for the TR, shame that the food wasn't to your liking.
