It did however mean a lot more travelling time, both to and from LHR, we didn't get to our first night hotel in MCO until midnight compared to probably 4pm if we had flown direct and we had the 3 hour boring drive back to MIA for the return. I wouldn't say no to flying MIA again, but I think I would need the saving to be large enough to make the extra hassle worth while.
