Easy check in then enjoyed the Clubhouse - sat where Barbara Windsor left as we came in. Food good as usual, staff lovely, drinks flowed. had a complimentary maintenance facial in the Spa.

Flight delayed an hour. Desperately long flight (on Ruby Tuesday upstairs PE cabin) due to headwinds. I watched 4 new films - even on the looping Odyssey system

On board the in-flight service seems to be getting more and more 'demand-based' - the crew do the absolute minimum. Pre-flight drink is perfunctory - no nibbles. Unbelievable when the economy section downstairs on this day has c. 200 empty seats.

Drinks round is rapid and meal service follows like bullets from a gun - no bar round and wine top-up and coffee/tea top up arrive before you have even drunk the first.

Then the meal is cleared and the crew vanish until the pre-arrival snack which is appalling - sandwich on dry bread with one slice of thin processed meat or whatever - and the plastic / cardboard cups. Can´t they manage a run with the bar cart?

Orlando inter-terminal suitcase conveyors closed and a nightmare with bags right to car hire and no 4 dollars for a trolley release. The prepaid Alamo car speeded up things at the end.

you must be unlucky, all my recent day fligts to MCo have been brilliant with numerous drinks runs, fruit etc. yes those sarnies are rank.....

I never use the bag recheck as it wastes so much time, better to struggle up the escalator IMO

Thanks for the TR, starting to wonder if switching to VS was a good idea! hmmm, perhaps I might switch my MCO flights to MIA!

Thanks Alex.

Got my first UC flight to JFK next month, that will be fine with v port etc. I'm just concerned if the condition of my UC flight in Sept to MCO will be terrible (based on recent reviews). Fingers crosseD!
