Being a Saturday traffic fron Manhattan to JFK was fairly light.
On arriving at check in we {myself & partner} were offered the opportunity of taking the 18.15 flight rather than the 17.30 we were booked on. We decided to take the earlier option but changed our minds when we found out that our seats would not be anywhere near to each other.
Soon in Clubhouse & enjoying first glass of bubbly. On being
offered a refill we decided to give the Virgin Redhead a try which we both loved. On being offered yet another drink my good lady suggested that we go back to the straight bubbly as the Redhead was very strong, good job I have her to keep me in check. Service in the Clubhouse was very efficent & attentive. We went for the Clubhouse Burger & Salad which was good.
Flight called & quickly through fast track at security.
Priority Boarding was in operation but not very well organised.
Once on plane enjoyed the usual glass of bubbly & then sat back
& enjoyed a good flight which was short at under 6 hours.
Slept a fair bit but managed to wake for a bacon roll at breakfast time.
For the first time ever we were given Fast Track immigration passes which proved very worthwhile as the regular queue was very long.
Crew were good & overall a very good flight.
Looking forward to our VS flight to Antigua next month.
