You may have well read my 'Not happy with Virgin' post in the departure lounge, to cut a long story short.. checked in online, wouldnt let me select my seat and auto allocated me 83H downstairs in PE, SEQ1 for the geeks again!

Arrived at LAS airport to drop bags off, again straight to the front of the que for PE feeling the glare of jealousy from the 300 people queing for Economy (takes a moment to gloat), I explained to the check in agent with regards to my seat, she hit a few keys on the keyboard and said there was 1 seat left upstairs which was an aisle seat, I took that as I wanted an aisle seat anyway so you are free to get up and walk about when you like without having to disturb anybody.
Security really wasnt as bad here as previous experiences, no priority security lines here so waited about 20mins to get through, they seem to send 99% of people through the body scanner here which can take a while (better to be safe than sorry I guess!)
So there I was, eating my slice of pizza in a quiet corner of departures minding my own business when.... that moment of dread arrived as you hear your own name being beckoned by the terminal tannoy

Anyway, window seat for me. It wasnt as bad as I thought as the bonus here is the side storage bin along the windows, very handy to keep all your bits in!

Managed to grab 4 hours sleep and before we knew it we were touching down at LGW, being 1 of the 1st off the plane passport control and baggage reclaim was a breeze, from landing to getting into my car was approx 45mins!
All in all, very happy 1st time experience in PE and will most certainly be flying this way again in the future. My return leg today has popped me up to 'Silver' flying club
