Not done a TR before. Thought I would throw one out there. Might assist someone.....

Owing to my companies cut backs I can now only fly PE out to the East coast so the car and DTCI all vanish. :( so
I decided to try Purple Parking's meet and greet service again at LHR.
Drive to LHR was not bad at all, an hour on the nose which from Junction 2 on the M25 was a nice start.
Purple Parking man was there waiting for me, voucher handed to me and instructions on how to collect car when returning, very simple exchange.
Walked in to Zone A at T3, straight over to UC bag drop which was empty. Explained to that I was after the bulkhead seat if possible, he looked at his screen, said he could give me 18K. All was happy. :D Normal pleasantries as he explained that I knew my way to the lounge, etc. Up in the lift and thru UC security in record time. I found myself at the clubhouse reception in record time for me, 7 mins!!
Started working, internet in the CH was fine for me, was served quickly and as it was after noon I decided a glass of red was called for with a trip to the deli bar instead of my normal CH burger.
Paid a visit to Mr Shoeshine done a fantastic job on my old shoes, well worth seeing him if you have some tired looking shoes.
My glass was kept well filled and when it was boarding time and the call came the short walk to the gate found the airway empty so I just walked on, was greeted and sat straight in my seat. Glad to see it 600 series as I eyed the IFE handset.
Taxing was non-eventful and up in the air on-time. Shortly after take-off the CSM came up to me and welcomed me back on board :D and explained all the staff knew I was on-board and would make sure I had my first choice meal etc, etc. Always a nice touch.
The in-flight menu is subject to another post of mine so let’s just say I don't like mushrooms v( v(
CC done the normal meal and drinks service, a couple of water and juice runs. I have got to say VS please get rid of that paper cup for tea and coffee. I personally hate them.
Other than that the CC were pretty invisible to me for the rest of the flight. Not sure where they were, think it was announced that there were only 200 odd peole on board. I counted 12 empty PE seats.
Rest of the flight was pretty uneventful, IFE all worked well. My only comment is the TV channel is getting a bit old now. I know I fly about once every 6-8 weeks but I had seen everything I wanted to see, twice!!!
Landed at BOS on-time, had to wait for a aircraft to leave our stand, this was only a 5 mins delay. For some reason it took a good 10mins to get the air bridge out. Finally the door opened, once the 20 or so UC pax were off, i walked out the door. With a bit of a step on I walked passed most of them to be greeted by a great site. An empty immigration hall, not one person in front of me. :D :D
Very quick check and thru to baggage collection. Very fast, 10 mins! My bag was number 3 off.
Exit airport left!!
Overall a very good PE experience

Thanks for the TR y) - planning on doing the run to BOS from LHR in the next month or so, so very helpful.

Glad to hear the FSM is approaching people again - just hoping that this is going to become consistant across the fleet.

Have a good trip.
