Thanks to the wonderful v-flyer network, I was the guest of a fellow VS traveler in uc, so experienced the new ch. The guest system works and thanks again to my fellow pax
Overall impressions Of the JFK ch - good. Much better in terms of location. The gamble of when to leave the previous lounge was always an unwanted stress.
Made use of the spa and enjoyed an excellent dinner. Top marks!

Vs10 was operated by an a343 and although I had hoped for vsun, sadly we were rostered an odyssey ife craft. It felt like I had stepped back in time. The tv screens were smaller, the picture quality was questionable and the lack of choice when you're used to vport or jam is really limiting.

So, it was all about the iPad on this flight!

The service itself was very fast- we arrived almost an hour ahead if schedule. A fair whack of turbulence as well was not well received But it adds a bit if entertainment at least.

As usual, excellent staff, food and seat... Just a pitty about the antiquated, dare I say it prehistoric ife.

Last time I was on the VS10, it was the old 'power problem on the stand, no IFE on this flight' problem, so there are things worse than Oddessy in IFE: None.

To me, thats a nightmare for me if it happens on my LHR-LAX or SFO-LHR flights coming up in a few weeks...
