After almost 4 weeks up and down the west coast, time came to leave.

Our friends dropped us off at SFO, we'd arrived about 15 minutes before check-in opened, so there were no queues. Once checked in straight to the clubhouse, with a slight detour to the museum.

Unusal location for a museum, and a few interesting exhibits.

Clubhouse was as expected with staff very keen and enthusiastic. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

Can definitely recommend the sweetcorn soup, it was very tasty. Although i'd read about the crisps being served with the Clubhouse burger I was still surprised. Great burger though.

Flight was called about 3:40pm and we were personally escorted by the Clubhouse manager to the security channel, a nice touch i thought.

Once through the security channel, and down to gate 11, boarding on tinkerbelle was quick, we'd bagged seats 12 and 14a both of which looked a little tired, the dividers were very yellowed, other than that, the seat worked fine, as far as i know the entertainment worked fine, i couldnt see anything i wanted to watch so settled in with the ipad and kindle.

For some reason i couldnt sleep on the flight, which seemed an awful waste of the lie flat bed, but managed to kill enough time reading and gaming to make the time disappear.

Cabin staff were polite and offering drinks & snacks at regular intervals, the food wasnt great on the flight, for the main meal i took the chicken breast with the mushroom stuffing. Chicken was good, but the brocolli that was served with it was pretty overcooked, as was the bread roll. Lemon cheesecake was tasty.

Overall a very good flight. Now back to the real world and work :(

Thanks for the trip report -- I agree with you about the tired appearance of Tinkerbelle in the nose. I have noticed this a couple of times now.

I am surprised no one else has commented!
