I wont do an out-bound VS3046 TR as there are already a few others.

After a few hours in London, I headed back to LHR T1. Makes a nice change using T1 and not having to use T5 (which I've never been a fan of).

I'd already checked in online and downloaded my Passbook boarding pass. For some strange reason, I was not able to use OLCI the previous for the out-bound VS3046 flight but could check in for the return VS3043 flight? Apparently my booking was throwing up error code 4, what ever that was, not that it caused any problems at MAN.

T1 security was nice and easy with no waiting (domestic flights use the same security as international in T1), much much more efficient than the scrum that we had encountered at MAN security earlier in the morning.

Watched the Queen of the Cobbles (EI-DEO) land and she was soon on stand.

Before long boarding was announced and lots of pax where getting beeps as they entered the jetway. With the flight not been full, VS where moving pax around on-board for load balancing reasons. The staff very very very apologetic about this but it really wasn't an issue for anyone.

Now's here's the issue with using mobile/Passbook boarding passes. The staff cannot change these manually, so do remember your new seat number if this happens.

I was soon sitting comfortably in my new seat 9F. The seats are very comfortable and the leg-room is reasonable, even for me who's over 6 foot.

We pushed back more or less on-time and we where soon on our way back to MAN.

The in-flight service was soon started. The choice was special addition crisps or a cookie along with the usual hot/cold drinks selection.

Before long where where approaching MAN, so the cabin was cleared and secured. We landed on-time and where soon on stand, again at gate 18.

All in all a great service and product offered by VS providing a much needed alternative to BA on this route.

Bye Bye BA (which I've had to put up with for domestic routes for the last year or so). I won't miss you one bit.

Oh yes, that's something I forget to mention - miles & TP's.

I did my usual online manual claim when I got home (I always do this) and I've actually earned more miles than I thought I would, including my FC AG bonus and the current double miles offer on Little Red flights :w

TP's are correct though (2 for a return flight).

Even with the double miles promo, I've ended up with more miles than I think I should have.

The FC AG 50% bonus appears wrong (it's actually awarded me 100% instead plus there's 2 x MMF 250miles bonus transactions appeared which I have no idea where they have come from :? )
