A bad start only getting to my Computer four hours after OLCI opened resulting in a lowly SEQ 121+122 v(

We arrived at LAS around 1245 and were processed quickly by a friendly young man at checkin and made it through security in under ten minutes.
A little bit of duty free shopping and into the Club at LAS, it’s no Clubhouse but it is a pleasant environment with snacks and drinks available (also available to Priority Pass members) y)

It looks like Hot Lips will be our carriage home to the low temperatures of London I guess it’s time to put the shorts away again.

Fifty minutes before scheduled takeoff we were advised of delayed boarding to to inbound technical difficulties with the Aircraft (unsure what they are) more details to come.
Time for another drink then ):

Boarding began at around 1840, take off at about 1945.

We were welcomed aboard by a friendly crew, Champagne offered and accepted, the CSS came around the cabin with menus and checking that everyone was familiar with the UCS name check for the Good Mrs H and myself.

The UCS was comfortable and clean.

Time for some food (new menu for April) we both opted for the Roasted Tomato and Bell Pepper Soup (very nice) on the the main course I went for the Pan Roasted Chicken Breast which came with Carrots, Asparagus, onions and wait for it Mushrooms it was actually delicious, Mrs H had the Ricotta and Spinach Cannelloni also with Mushrooms and reportedly nice I had a couple of glasses of the Pietas Old Vines Selection red wine again a nice choice. On to Desert the Apple Crumble Cheesecake was great Mrs H had the Warm Caramel Salted Lava Cake (nice but a bit too rich).

After diner I ordered some duty free and made my bed and got a solid five and a half hours sleep ][|) waking for a Bacon roll and Coffee about ninety minutes before landing.

Throughout the Crew did a great job maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

We touched down into LGW at 1305, disembarkation was via L2 so the PE cabin was allowed off first, we proceeded into a fairly empty immigration hall but only half of the E Gates were working (oh how I miss IRIS).
Baggage cane out onto the carrousel all mixed up with the first bags being marked as PE and a lot came out before our bags turned up.

Our Chauffeur was waiting for us and we were home by 1430, it’s not as cold as I thought but I’m not wearing my shorts anymore.

Overall another good flight.

Thanks for posing!

Sounds like a pretty decent experience all round. Glad to hear the delay didn't mess up your plans too much.

No gambling for us, we just go to see some shows and concerts and generally live it up for a few days, and we got married there in March 2008 so went back to celebrate :D

Thanks for the TR, sounds like a good flight y) I love the lazy river pool at Mandalay, though we haven't stayed there in a while I like the Elara now I've discovered the huge suites with projector TV.

Less than 8 weeks to go.....:)

I have an Otis Spunkmeyer 'Banana Nut' muffin that I took with me from the First Class lounge at LAS on 27 march 2010 (I've just checked my VS FC record for the date). It looked suspicious at the time, and I could not find an expiry date on the package; I still have it in the kitchen and it shows no visible sign of decay.

It's what used to be Westgate Towers at Planet Hollywood - no casino, no smoking, a mix between apartments and hotel rooms. It's our current favourite anyway, it could change we do tend to flit about a bit :)
