Picked up a hire car from my local Hertz as this was a return to different airport trip, and as the car hadn't been cleaned (it was immaculate) the guy who I know threw in a free tank of gas. saving $35 cost of hire $50. result

arrived at MCO approx 100 minutes before TO, greeted by tow very cheery ladies at the empty UC desk. Whole process very quick and good rapport 5*.
armed with invitation to Delta lounge, quick trip through security and onto the airtrain.now I haven't used the lounge for a while and to be honest its hardly worth it. OK its nice and clean but the 'food' offering was abysmal. crackers, plastic cheese and pretzels...

Greeted on board by very pleasant CC and champagne eventually offered. The FSM who I have had before is very pleasant but not very interactive. this flight was no different. the CC (no permission for name) however was excellent , food soon served...tomato and mozzarella salad, followed by salmon and a more than generous amount of top ups @ im trying to get you all drunk so you nod off' was the cheery comment.
Watched 'flight' with Denzil, interesting to see a plane fly upside down. I have to say the new Vera touch is pretty good although on occasions it needed more than A touch...I can imagine the seat banging further back...
seat converted to bed and I am pleased to say a few hours

all in all the sort of flight you want and that when delivered makes Virgin one of the best...........
It will be interesting to compare with my return , which is the LCY CW baby bus into JFK....first time and really looking forward to this
