On line check in completed; bags dropped efficienty. T3 security not bad - through in 10 minutes.
Flight boarded on time; with a chap stuck at the end of the jet bridge in an electric wheelchair - this evenetually caused an hour's delay to departure, as once everyone was onboard, they offloaded the chair from the door at the "opposite" side of boarding, secured it in a baggage bin, and then loaded it into the csrgo hold.
Flight service was adequate; food offering was small but OK; I was pleased I had a good brekkie at the Holiday Inn! Not many drinks/water runs.
As we appoached Miami there were rainstorms around, so we stooged around a bit and lost the time we had made up. Landed about 25 mins late, with PE held up for UC and upstairs to get off first. And then the long walk to Immigration. Took an hour to get through, but if we had arrived 5 minutes later it would have taken longer as other flights also arrived.
Luggage on floor, so picked up and off the to Alamo at the rental car centre via the monorail, and on the road in 1h 20m from landing - not too bad, really.
