Check in at BGI very slow, we were able to use PE check in but waited an age for the one family in front to be checked in.

Journey through passport control and security not too bad.

Flight was delayed in a similar manner to the previous week, various reasons were given but the common factor was that the aircraft used for the outbound VS29 was the inbound MCO flight which leaves very little flexibility re turn around. I am no expert but this does seem a coincidence.

Boarding well organised and fairly quick. Well settled into upper deck but was a bit of a come down from the outbound UC experience.

Flight attendants were very nice and the catering was once again very good, I had the Pasta which did not look great but was very tasty, there was no restriction on the beverage trolley!

The entertainment system was a little tedious. I am not a very frequent traveler but the TV choices were tha same as my previous 4 flights. If VS can change the movies monthly maybe they could consider the rest of the package as well.

Arrived at Gatwick around an hour behind schedule, priority disembarkation as we were upstairs was great but LGW baggage handling proved a little unreliable so it took another hour before we left the terminal.

In a nutshell the overall Virgin Experience, UC out and Y in was very positive and we hope to fly again soon.

Can I ask how you got the Upper Deck ? We fly in June and I would love to see if I can get this as a treat for my son, he loves flying and the last time he was begging me to bring him up to have a look, we are flying economy to MCO. TIA y)

Keep checking manage my booking on the VS site for when the seats become available. Currently if you can log in to your booking you should be able to choose seats 60 days before you fly.
They may also become available a few hours before on line check In opens or at 8am one morning.
