After a rather traumatic experience with two huge suitcases on the tube I made it to T3 and was shocked to find it completely empty (but not complaining).I quickly scanned my boarding pass on the passport app and got a real boarding pass ^_^ and was off into security. Did have a cheeky ask about UC, but at £999 (and being away from the rest of my family) I politely declined

On board welcome was very good and were very accomomdating to a member of our party who needs accessibility assistance. Welcome drinks were quickly given- standard OJ/Sparkling and offered anything else which was a nice touch. All was going so well until we got some rather drunk people at the back of PE

Food was ok- can't really remember what it was I think it was some sort of chicken

First experience with Vera. Quite a good selection, but as a night flight I didn't really use it. Seat was v. comfortable and got quite a lot of sleep. Woke up with 2 hours to go and the 'breakfast' service started. Breakfast on VS400 is generally nothing to write home about, but this time it was rather bad. It had lots of cheese and egg in it and after informing the flight attendant about my intolerance (which is quite mild) I was told 'Oh what a shame. You're not really missing out.'

Flight touched down in DXB on time and bags arrived quickly. Overall a good flight, however was a shame about the food and the rather amateur crew.
