Bretty wrote:Yeah his wasn't so good but was happy with how it was dealt with. Although I had a lovely steak, I must say I had better in BOS, and for just a few pounds more than the Radisson. I had a fabulous Delmonico (ribeye), medium rare and perfect. Mind, it weighed 24oz but surprisingly I ploughed my way through it!
And now, I'm seriously hungry. Think I'm off to the butcher's in a moment...
Oh, did you find (and get to eat in) Atlantic Fish whilst in BOS?
Yes we ate at Atlantic Fish on our first night out day after we arrived. I booked a couple of days before we departed and could only get 9.30 reservations so it was gone 10 before we got any food. I had oysters and lobster, so I was well happy, delicious and simple. My OH is not a fish eater, but didn't fancy any of the 3 meat dishes on the menu. He had, and enjoyed, crab cakes to start, and then played safe and went for fish and chips, which were nice, but not quite right for him as they serve up chunks of fish in batter rather than a whole fillet (he has fixed ideas about what fish and chips and other things should be). There was loads. Service was excellent with a friendly but not OTT waiter who earned his tip. Food was very good. As with anywhere down that part of Back Bay (or Boston generally for that matter!), it was a little overpriced but worth it.
I heard someone say that most of the restaurants only give Open Table the bad slots and save prime slots for people who phone direct or walk ins, hence our late slot. That said, when we arrived there were a few 'walk ins' behind us who were told the earliest they could be seated was 10.45!
@LucyLu have a great time
