After a two and a half hour drive south form the lovely island of Captiva, i arrived at the VS check-in. Everything was fine and i got my invite to the club america lounge. So off i trotted to find the lounge. After some of the topics i had read on the club america lounge i was not expecting much but really it was fine. Drinks were fine, wi-fi free(and worked) and seats very comfy.

At about 7 o'clock i headed for gate E8. To my suprise the priority boarding was actually working and i was settled(not for long) in my seat, 4A. Take off was 10 or so minutes late heading eastbound. straight over south beach and over the atlantic. I thought i would now see if the i:map worked on this flight(on my outboard flight it didnt) and rather dissapointingly it once again didnt work. Any way i placed my food orders and settled into my seat with Stormbeaker on. After about 50 minutes dinner was served. On seeing the food being served i thought i would get out my table. However it didnt seem to want to come out and after a few yanks from an FA it didnt want to go back in either. No real problem i thought and i settled into my new seat 3D. After a very enjoyable meal i settled into bed and got a good 4 hours sleep. Breakfast was served about an hour out of lhr and i had my beacon roll while still lying in my bed.

We circled London 3 times before commencing our disent into Lhr.

Overall my second ever VS flight was once again very enjoyable but maybe not so goos as the outboard flight.
