Arrived early from Denver, no line at the Virgin Chek in Desk. Was able to select 18C.
Went to the lounge and was told, this is for Upper Class passengers only, I suggested the concierge check my boarding pass a little closer.

The lounge refit has made it a little brighter, could still smell the paint fumes, but my favourite seat under the stairs has gone, and been replaced with a cafe style table and chair.

Food was good, and so was the drink.

Pre-boarding took place at 18:15, and we pushed back on time. There were only 14 Passengers in PE and probably only 50 in Economy, most people had a row to themselves.

Flight time was 6hrs and 13 mins, and we landed at 6:45, I was in the baggage hall at 7.00, and eventually got my bags at 7:40. Again they have a little note from the TSA inside them.

The flight crew were excellent, much better than expected for a night flight, as recently the service has been distinctly average on some of my recent trips back from the US.

Regrettably this trip will probably be the last via Washington, as due to the clock changes, my next trip will be via SFO.
