Here we go tr no 2 we arranged a town car transfer to jfk with jjjcars very efficient service turned up 10 mins early and a smooth transfer to JFK unlike the Mad Max like ride the NYC yellow cab gave us inbound.we arrived promptly at T4 dispite heavy traffic. again i took advantage of the OLCI at the hotel and was greeted by a very friendly and efficient member of check-in and with no waiting what so ever. having been totaly spoilt on the way out we looked longingly at the club house. but fear not dear readers we availed ourselves to the LOUNGE apparently its the only PAYG lounge at JFK which as far as we are concered good value compared to serviceair at LHR,LGW,BHX,STN. we were suprised by the length of the Security lines. we departed from gate 31 on miss behavin 10 mins early but sat on the ground creeping up the line for one and half hours we finally made our way skyward. the cabin crew and the captian did apoligise often, and the captain made us laugh when he said that JFK as a third world airport for aircraft dispatch [:D] we hadd a very uneventful return flight V-Port performed superbly but there was an advisory not to use the i-map as it causes V-Port to crash.the food was good for me (beef stew) rosie had chicken chassuer with wild rice not good[:(!] and a vegitarian meal .the tray also consisted of the greek salad and a brownie cheese and biscuits [y] could not get any sleep no matter how we tried [|)]. the cabin crew was good and chatty but they had no change , so no retail therapy for rosie this was the same on the outbound flight.we cleared immigration fairly quickly and when we got to baggage recliam our case was waiting for us [:0]
