Did also fly out on vs671 on 27th December 08 but will confin our trip report to this flight. Needless to say, however, we had a great time in the club house outward bound and made every effort to avail ourselves of the boundless hospitality provided and a great time was had by all. [y]

A big thank you to the cabin crew on this flight in particular to [name deleted]the flight manager and [name deleted]one of the senior cabin crew. We were flying with two children 10 and 7, [name deleted]the youngest was pretty poorly throughout the trip owing to kenya tummy and she was constantly checking on him and making sure he was ok. All he really needed was his bed and headphones, but many thanks for [name deleted]'s attention.[:X]

The welcome on board was probably the best I have ever received in many years of flying. Nothing was too much trouble and all the cabin crew were pleasant and uplifting and actually seemed they wanted to be there.

Check in at Nairobi was a bit of a hotch potch but well conducted by ground staff.

Certainly rec the Cocoa Hill Red wine.............. A drink at the bar, afternoon tea and scones together at 38,000 feet whilst the children slept..... priceless.

Whilst writing, many thanks to all those who replied to my posting regarding taking the children upper class.

Kevin

Did [name omitted, but begins with C] cabin crew give permission for her name to be used in the trip report? If not, I'd suggest editing the report to remove the name (you can only use staff names with their permission on V-Flyer).

If she did give permission for her name to be used, edit the trip report to add 'name used with permission' (or similar words) after her name.

Thanks
James

Kevin, I have had to edit your post to remove the crew names (in doing so I also managed to delete your youngest kids name as well [:I]).

Per our guide lines we do not post crew names unless they have given permission, preferably written, in blood, witnessed by their great great great grand parent...get where I am coming from [:p]

Seriously though, normally when these types of things happen we pm the person with the post, but every now and again an open reminder is a good idea.

Of course thank you though Kevin for your TR 7 year old who for now we will call [name deleted] is feeling better, nothing worse than a bad tummy on a holiday.
