Well I thought I had better post about our flight to Orlando, we flew on Oct 28th after spending a wonderful night at the Radisson in a room with a runway view, wonderful start to the holiday. We had done the on line check in and printed our boarding cards so when we got up at a reasonable time of 0630 got dressed and showered then made our way to the bag drop via the sky bridge.

Our arrival at the bag drop was about 0730, straight through no problems, then to the dreaded secruity...........hurray not much of a Q so quickly through to the escape lounge which we had pre-booked ages ago. In the lounge there was a large selection of food and drink although I did not have anything alcoholic to drink as it was far to early so i made do with all the fresh juice, cheese, toast and milk to drink.

We were informed that our flight was boarding so made our way to the gate................ surprise surprise it did not seem to be a remote stand either, we were asked by a member of staff as we approache were we in Pe or Upper, we said PE so she then just waved us through, on boarding tickets were checked and we made our way up the stairs to the bubble and to our seats. I was surprised tosee bottles of water on them to how long as that been going on, anyway we sat down within seconds we were offered drinks champagne/orange etc which is always nice, so we had a drink and a read whilst the rest were boarding.

Take off I think was more or less on time when the seat belts signs went out out came the drinks trolley very nice, I had my 2 beers Jane had a large gin and tonic, movies were good to, service was very good time passed very quickly, staff as i said were very attentive, food was excellent first time I cleared my tray.

We landed on time and got offloaded very quickly through immigration and customs we then took our bags on the mono rail to the other side to save time which I think it does. We then went to ALAMO car hire where we were offered an upgrade which we did not want. Then we got car and were off to pick up keys for villa.

Well done VA smashing service, food and drink to I we had a great time on the flight, thankyou.

That's what shows if you don't choose a class from the dropdown list when creating a TR.

Thanks for the explanation Darren - I thought it was a sort of Premium Economy variant [:I]

Thanks for the TR, smoggies. With the exception of car hire with Alamo (as opposed to VS/VH) this is a mirror image of the trip me and the present Mrs Treelo have planned for May. Oh, and BTW, bottled water in PE has been the norm for the last few PE journeys we have done. [:)]

Thanks for the TR!
The Radisson does make an easy start for that flight - and I usually find the Hyatt at the other end gives even better views of the runways :-)
