A great read, yet again.

Fancy a member of the crew having the name 'Vipond' as well.

Tizer clamped her hand over her nose and screamed:

'Daddy! It smells really bad in here!'.

That actually made me laugh out loud!

Brilliant as ever!! [oo][oo][oo]

quote: Avid followers of this humble correspondent's TRs will no doubt recall our darling daughter, Tizer, coming down with a 103 degree temperature on the flight out to MIA and not really recovering until two days before we flew home.
No we don't. Your blog only goes as far as your stay in SoBE [V]

quote: She got out her procession of My Little Ponies, which quickly drew the attention of a cheery blonde FA. Before we knew it, her and Tizer were ensconced together in 6A, brushing manes and taking the ponies for a canter around the suite. It was lovely to watch her play so nicely, totally engrossed in her make-believe, fairytale world of pastel-shade ponies; Tizer was having a wonderful time too.
Oh dear! Something not to be read just as one has taken a good slug of red wine!! The screen is now clean but how do I get red wine stains out of the carpet!

Now could you please hurry up with the return trip?

Had a really cr#p morning at work today and reading this has transported me to a kind of fly on the wall documentary about your trip.

Absolutely superb read.

Thank you - brightened up my day.

Bows, laughs and kudos---this is bar none, the best TR I have read on V-Flyer. Many thanks for a hearty guffaw on a Friday night after a looong week, and hope Disney is all you believe it will be. Perhaps you can look forward to the day when Tizer is disenchanted with princesses and allows discovery of other parts of Florida? As she is fond of My Little Pony, Hialeah might be a start?

cheers,

My, you are accident prone! Mind you, the #1 has been known to leave important items in room safes before too, I limit myself to expensive toiletries in bathrooms.

Great TR as always, enjoy the sun and especially mice, mountains and teacups!

Another top notch TR Mark, with my favourite line, and the first of many true LOL moments, being:

quote:
'Horses sweat, men perspire and ladies glow'. Well, let's just say that Mrs V was glowing cobs. [oo]

Just thinking about it, with you doing such a superb TR so close to my flight, and knowing I won't be able to compete in the TR writing stakes, there is probably no point in me doing one, so thanks for that[y]

Neil

ps: Where is the return TR? [V]

A great TR - thanks for posting it. I too laughed at Tizer's comment on entering the Economy cabin! (Much better than the one from the kid/Mum on my trip about Premium Economy).

Enjoy Florida & look forward to the return TR.

Mark

I laughed about your comment about the 'fetid heat' of July and August - our trips crossed towards the end of yours, my first week being one of the hottest weeks in October for years [:D] - it was good though, nothing like a bit of humidity to sweat out the alcohol[:w]

Anyhoo, Upper class to MCO and a stay in Wilderness Lodge [y], how does the song go - 'these are two of my favourite things ...'

Hope you didn't ask for ketchup or beans [:w]

Well done Mark, another in the long line of excellent trip reports. Tizer's comment on the pong in economy goes in the 'children, don't you just love them' album.

[y] As always a crack'in read...good to see Tizer really appreciated Disney this time..and the weather held out??

I do seem to remember the 'chirpy chap' at MAN, its characters like this that do make that extra difference and generally put people in a better frame of mind..[y]

(Note to self: come up with sensible answer to obvious questions from mini nh about different cabins..)[:0]

as ever, a masterpiece. The cool thing is you set the bar so high we mere mortals don't even have to think about competing and can just post our own stuff knowing we're in a different league :)

I know! What are the chances? Reminds me of a joke: A white horse walks into a bar and the landlord says to him, 'You know, we've got a whisky named after you' and the horse replies, 'What, you got a whisky called Eric?'.

Yes, she did...

Thanks to all for the kind comments. A flight generally has to be very good or very bad to be able to do a decent TR, and we've had a fair mixture of both (although mostly good) over the years.

HL - after a similar, unfortunate red wine incident the other week, use cold water to get it out. Using white wine - I was told by a carpet cleaning insider - is naught but a waste of wine...

The trip was wonderful, a resounding success. Stunning weather - high 80s and sunny every day. Quick pictorial highlights include:

Wish we were still there... Return TR will follow in due course.

Well words just fail me! Mark outstanding as always, and just can imagine the looks of the pax when Tizer 'mentioned' the smell in Y [:o)]

Looks like she had a great time!

Thanks again,

Everyone has already said it, but to just add to the plaudits, a truly unique TR which had me laughing all the way[oo][oo]

In amongst all those wonderful vignettes, it is good to know that the Crew (and ground staff) did everything that makes VS that special airline[y]

I hope that Tizer made up for the lost time in Disney last year

Thank you for making my day - I have a mind of passing it up to my boss so he staves off giving me a hard time tomorrow[;)]
