Flight 5 of 6 on this trip and another good one from VS.
After the trip down from MCO, there was a hang on until checkin opened at MIA, it was easier traversing through the airport this time (without immigration) and we were soon waiting on the staff appearing.
The good thing about Virgins checkin in MIA is that about 10 footsteps away there is a Dunkin Donuts

That passed the time

Checkin was soon opened and I was on my way to the "super" Club America lounge via a very slow security lane which had fasttrack for upper.
Every bag seemed to get checked causing queues.
The lounge was "interesting" to say the least, but I have mentioned that in another thread.
Boarding was quick and this time it was in the front of the nose for the seats - just like the Gatwick fleet but without the bar

Drinks orders were taken along with meal orders and all was well.
Had the soup (which was late because one of the ovens had broken, although I dont think anyone actually noticed), the beef which was fantastic and retired with a coffee.
The crew were 1st class and beds were made/unmade by magic when you were changing into your sleep suit.
The flight was pretty smooth and uneventful and all too soon, it was time for breakfast.
That was the only bit that was a little strange, bacon rolls in upper, but a cooked breakfast in premium

A couple of loops and we were soon landing and were very quickly through immigration (in about 2 mins) and onwards to Revivals.
Great showers and a proper breakfast was gratefully accepted and I was soon on way to the Heathrow Express and onwards to T5 for the last flight of the trip up to Edinburgh.
