Night before check-in was very quick with the added bonus of being given a couple of seats in the bubble of the 747 and fast track security for the morning due to us assisting the check in operator that forgot to hand the passports back to the two passengers checking in before us resulting in the missus running across the concourse at Gatwick catching up with them.
Take off was delayed due to a technical problem that was discovered whilst the plane was making its way to the runway. It had to return to the stand for an engineer to have a looksie. Turned out to be a sensor problem according to the man in the front seat.
Flight was good with the planned stop in Barbados taking longer than planned as some passengers thought they were already in Antigua and got off at Barbados. This delayed the departure from Barbados by 30 minutes.
Food was average at best. Drinks service once through the cabin but more drinks could be had on request from the galley.
Entertainment system a vast improvement against the old system.
