I know I had mentioned earlier that this flight had a light load, in that, 4 weeks ago most of the seats were unallocated. Well, it turned out that they were so light, only 124 souls including crew! That they closed all of The Bubble, no one, not even PE were up there!
The Virgin check in staff at MCO were very good, explaining that due to the light load, a figure of 74 economy was mentioned, that UC and PE would balance the weight of the Economy passengers , who were all seated al the rear of the aircraft.

Back to the flight, around 40 minutes late, with push back , due to late arrival of flight from
MAN. But actual loading took around 8 minutes. Drinks served, crew efficient and chatty, obviously happy that there evening was going to be stress free. Dinner of Caesar Salad, Chicken and Rice, enjoyable and was excellent, Gu lemon dessert, to die for

Landing at MAN was delayed for 25 minutes due to glass on runway!! But, touched down at 10-25am. Just one hour later than scheduled, everybody exited in around 5 minutes, customs and immigration was quiet, luggage in 10 minutes and train home at 11-00am.

All in all, flying economy in the newly refurbished 747 could not be faulted, the seating in The Bubble on our outward trip was row 80, no problems and on our return we took 61H&K, after requesting a move from row 65, plenty of room all around with not having the 3rd seat. Only slight drawback on seating was the IFE Box narrowed foot room on
61H.
Roll on November when we go back to PE.
