I left the Hilton at 930am which felt like plenty of time to catch the 1125am flight but the shuttle was busy and delayed so it was just after 10am when I was checking in. As usual, pop music was playing in the VX check in area and I only had a short wait before I was called to the First Class desk. The agent was friendly of sorts though seemed distraction but I was processed quickly and wished a good flight.
Using the fast track lane was a blessing as the other lines were very long indeed. I was through in no time and just had time to stop by Starbucks, the plan was to use The Loft but time just didn't warrant the $40 fee.
In fact at 1040am I was leaving Starbucks when the flight was called which was very early, I was one of the first on and welcomed warmly. I asked what time it was and the CC replied "5oclock somewhere" which sort of sums up the fun funky VX service

I accepted a glass of sparkling wine but any drink from the bar was available. The flight was full at the back but only three in First class. Refills were offered as boarding continued.
The captain came to the front of the cabin and announced a flight time of 47mins. Pushed back slightly ahead of schedule and were airborne several minutes later.
Interestingly complimentary wine and beer or a soft drink were available to everyone and it was stated, only one drink each. Those though in First class were thankfully not in the one drink club........

The snack basket was offered with cookies, nuts and crisps and we we encouraged to take several items. Drinks were offered and refills too. The service was friendly and fun.
The approach to Las Vegas was very bumpy indeed but we touched down and were at the gate quickly.
A great service. For such a short flight First class is a treat but it was enjoyable and top notch as usual for VX.
