I've lost my virgin virginity!
First ever VS flight and my first TR
We stayed at the Sofitel the night before and checked in at 6:40, check in was very quick and very friendly.
Did a bit of shopping and arrived at the clubhouse was given a tour and told to book a treatment straight away as to avoid disappointment.
We sat down and were served straight away by the most smiliest lady I have ever met! She is an asset to the clubhouse!
I ordered the breakfast and OJ, the OH had tea.
I booked a massage and came back to my breakfast which was amazing, the sausage was to die for!
The waitress came back for more drink orders and this time I had a Bloody Mary and a champagne, she seemed relived we had ordered alcohol as she thought we weren't going to drink. She made such nice conversation with us and made us feel at ease (first time and all)
I had my massage and ordered some more drinks.
Called to the gate at 8:45 so we walked on down, we were greeted on board by name and offered champagne which was accepted and b4 take off a second glass was consumed.

In flight entertainment was great! The best I've ever experienced and the seat was very comfy.

The cabin crew were amazing, very engaging, stopping and having long conversations with us. I can't fault them!

The food was great I had the ham hock, fillet and tart. The cheese and port was a nice finishing touch.

After lunch we sat at the bar for a bit with the crew and fellow pax.

I slept for a bit and woke up just before afternoon tea, again no complaints and the OH loved the chocolate tarts!

We landed ahead of schedule, we left and were amazed at the level of service and quality food/drink we had received!

Hi ultreen1, welcome and thanks for a great TR, sounds like you had fun and had great service. Like you my first flight with VS was just recent, and it was UC cos I spoiled myself and OH. The Clubhouse is something else, and just made our trip more wonderful. Seems it added something to yours too, and thank god you ordered champoo, when I saw OJ and tea I got worried lol ;)

Really pleased you enjoyed it all, but beware, it's been said that once you've turned left, you don't want to turn right anymore... Happy travels.

Hi and welcome to V Flyer with your inaugural TR :D :D

Your sense of awe at what the Clubhouse has on offer come through loud and clear and it is good to see that the standard of service was maintained once on board.

Like the majoirty of V Flyers, you have seemed to have caught the "Upper at all costs" bug ): Hope that you can pick up plenty of tips on here to help you re-live your experience.

Thanks for the TR y) y)
